I arrived in Plaza de España (Spain Square) in Seville on a warm, sunny afternoon in December 2014. This charming and majestic place, with its wide semicircular shape, immediately embraces its visitors. I stayed there for hours, losing myself by watching the square and the people strolling around it. Their steps spread long shadows, thin as wires, that seemed to resonate like the strings of a guitar. Lights and shadows as sharp as blades, cut out full and empty shapes in the facade of the building, with its long porticoes, arches and graceful ornate bridge profiles. The placid water of the Canal, which crosses the square, provides this architectural complex with a mirror to reflect its splendour once again, while the coming and going of hooves and carriages on the pavement create a pleasant soundtrack. It is a place which invites us to marvel, to celebrate important times in our lives, to rest, to share and exchange glances and to enjoy being there as if we were on an immense stage.
Muchas gracias a la Seville Tourist Board por compartir mi video y a toda la gente que lo está viendo, comentando y compartiendo. Un beso muy grande para la maravillosa ciudad de Sevilla y su gente!
