Lisbon, 16th December 2014, 5pm I find myself, strolling through the streets of the ancient Alfama district, at one of the beautiful panoramic points overlooking the city: Miradouro Sofia de Mello Breyner Andresen. A place dedicated to the famous Portuguese poet who used to spend many of her days admiring Lisbon from this enchanting spot. In the shade of the pine trees, sitting on a bench, I see a girl playing the guitar as she gazes at the city spread out before her. A charming view that she fills with her radiant grace and colors. What strikes me is that she's not performing for a passing audience. She plays and sings for the pleasure of making music, for the pure joy of hearing the notes flutter lightly and get lost in the strong wind, blending with the city's noises and the sound of bells. She with her guitar and voice, and I with my camera. I asked her with my eyes if I could be included in that space I imagined to be exclusive for her. The answer came with her smile and a slight nod of agreement. I shared that new space with her, devoid of people but filled with air and music. A brief and fleeting moment like the flight of a swallow in the blue sky. A nice memory.

The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is a unique and exciting event that combines running with charity work. The event takes place every year in London and is a 10k race through the streets of the city. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and is not just about raising awareness for cancer research, but it's also about bringing people together to support a great cause. The Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration is a museum located on the island that tells the story of the millions of immigrants who passed through its gates.
Visiting the museum can be a moving and emotional experience, as you learn about the struggles and sacrifices that these immigrants made in pursuit of a better life. The museum features exhibits that showcase the journey that immigrants took to get to America, the medical exams and screenings that they underwent upon arrival, and the challenges that they faced as they settled into their new lives. The museum also includes personal stories and artifacts from immigrants who passed through Ellis Island, providing a more intimate and human perspective on this important moment in American history. As I wandered through the exhibits, I couldn't help but be struck by the diversity of the immigrant experience, as well as the many challenges that these individuals faced in their quest for a better life. © ANNA BIANCO // All works by Anna Bianco. a video by Anna Bianco Lumiere London Festival 2018, Grosvenor Square 18-21 February 2018 "Illumaphonium is a dynamic and interactive, multi-sensory, music-making installation – the first of its kind. Created by musician and inventor Michael Davis (UK), the semi-acoustic, semi-automatic, multi-player musical sculpture stands at a height of 3.5m (11.5ft), and consists of more than a hundred illuminated chime bars. Each of these chimes respond to touch, with ever-changing patterns of light and sound, spreading out like waves over the giant instrument’s surface, and bringing people together into a fun and spontaneous music-making experience." https://www.visitlondon.com/lumiere/i...
