"A step at a time" is a film dedicated to my uncle Antonio Mustich, missing soldier in Rhodes (Greece) during the World War II,
in celebration of his 100th birthday anniversary. He was born on 08/10/1919. He was killed in 1944, the details of his death are unknown. I'm doing researches to find out where and when he went missing. He was in the 50th Regiment Artillery Infantry "Regina". He was posthumously awarded a "War Merit Cross". Rainer Maria Rilke in a painting by Helmuth Westhoff (around 1901)
A video that was inspired me by Rilke's poem (20th November 2009)
Rainer Maria Rilke's poem "Childhood" (in German, "Kindheit") is a nostalgic and bittersweet reflection on the loss of childhood innocence and the fleeting nature of youth. The poem describes the poet's memories of playing with his toys and being lost in his own imagination, and how those memories have been overshadowed by the realities of adulthood. |
