A magical tour along secret ways and passages, wonderful houses and exclusive parties.
Three characters live out their adventures during the most intense days of the Venice Carnival.
The protagonists are actors representing themselves, without pretence or changes made to their personality: in the role of Robert, Giuseppe Puglia lives a normal middle-class life throughout the year centred on the Carnival, during which he can finally impersonate the many roles hidden in the folds of his personality by wearing his costumes.
In the role of Catherine, Australian Sonia De Bellis experiences the adventure of a trip to Venice where she becomes an actress by chance and experiences the seduction of an unknown Casanova.
Multimedia artist Fabrizio Plessi, adoptive son of Venice, is the aesthetic eye of the city, he who believes in artistic transformation and the only one who can interact with the Master of Carnival who, impersonated by an eternal Harlequin, guides their lives.
The most luxurious Venetian palazzi, the least tourist-frequented calli (streets), the masked revellers...
the real Carnival seen in the perfect blend of make-believe and reality, entertainment and culture, feature movie and documentary:
a fast-paced film with an eye toward aesthetic value.
